I started to play tackle football when I was in 5th grade, the year of my first loss. The next three years I tried to push my team harder than the years before. It helped, and we went undefeated for the next three years. The losses in my first year of playing football pushed me to try and become a better team leader and athlete. I will be a leader.
I have dwelt with many minor injuries through playing football and one major. The one major injury I have faced in breaking my Fibula at the beginning of my Junior year. I haven't let the fears of getting hurt again keep me from playing the game I love. I feel like I am a good team leader also. I have helped lead a team to three straight undefeated championship seasons. I will try my hardest to give my 110 percent. I am also the captain of the Bear Lake Bears football team. I am also a great student. I've always kept my GPA above a 3.4. I work hard for my education, because if football fails, I will have something to fall back on.
