Wyatt Azevedo '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Wyatt Azevedo and I attend Columbia High school in Nampa, Idaho. I'm the starting Middle Linebacker and I have also played Tight End, Defensive End, and Kicker. I'm 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, but I'm working to get up to at least 215 or 220. I love football and it has always been my dream to play at the college level. I am a Captain for my 2013 varsity football team and have been named Defensive Player of the Year, Defensive MVP twice and Special Teams MVP once. I have also received the 'Workhorse Award" for the hardest working player on my team once. Football has always been my number one passion but I also compete on the Varsity Wrestling team at my school where I placed 3rd in the state of Idaho. I have made Honor Roll a few times for my school and believe academics are a number one priority. I currently hold around a 3.3 GPA but I am working very hard this year to boost that GPA as much as I can. My coaches have always told me that I have the ability to play at the college level so I'm pursuing my dream to do so. I've been told I'm an extremely hard worker and have the drive and skill to make it to college. I have been and still am working my hardest to make my goal of playing college football a reality.
