Jack Dejong '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a three sport athlete who plays football, basketball and track. Growing up I loved being part of a team and would play anything available. I grew to love playing football because I felt like I was part of a family.  My first high school coach stressed that your team is your family and you work hard for your family. I am a farm kid from a small town and working on the farm has taught me that the day isn't done until the work is done. That is similar to football.  I go to a small school where we play 8 man football and we struggle to have enough kids. I have to play both sides of the ball and at any position the coaches need me which has taught me how to  be adaptable and how to keep playing when it's hard.  I am coachable and a hard worker and it is my dream to play at the next level.
