I am a 3-year varsity athlete and a captain on my high school team as a junior. I currently hold two Division 1 offers from Cornell University and Columbia University. I have worked hard to become the best athlete I can be by attending speed-training, strength and conditioning, and position-specific classes, along with training on my own. I have also worked extremely hard in the classroom and have been able to maintain straight "A's" my entire scholastic career. Having been selected as a captain on my team, I have tried to focus more on helping my teammates become the best that they can be, while also trying to continue to improve my individual skills.
As my career has developed, I have come to understand the importance of preparation and becoming a student of the game, through hours of training and analyzing film. This has translated into my life outside of football, as I have learned that it applies to academics and other aspects of life. I feel like my skill, leadership abilities, and drive to become the best athlete I can be, make me a good candidate to make a positive impact on your program.
