Eric Owens '12 Recruiting Profile

I am Eric Owens, I'm a three year varsity starter, but I have been playing varsity since my freshman year.Im looking for a school that can be like a second home for me and I can play and give my all to.Im a really big guy looking for a team to bring the best out of me.I've been in love with the fact that I can play this sport with love and passion.I am glad to say I will be playing at the next level for someone's university next year and I can make it my home and graduate with a good degree to make my family proud.I am HIGHLY interested in HBCU'S as well.The things that drive me are my little brother, they give me the will to do great and show them that all is possible by the grace of god.I try to be the best role model for any young child.Im looking for somewhat of a big school but to make me feel like family in the locker room.Also looking for a place to recieve a degree to help me with my future. Im planning to go into pre-med/Sports Medicne.I've been wanting to play at the next level since I was a child and its been a dream to say 'I made It'. I feel that I can offer a big pressence to a team and skill for my position and I can bring that competitive attitude to any school.I've made First team Catholic league for tom Lemming award in my senior year.I've also made second team All Conference my junior and sophmore year. I have made defensive lineman my freshman and sophmore year. I was a Team Captian my senior year.my goals are to start by my sophmore year but if not I will work my hardest till I do.I am a very agile player and Can be quick but i use my strenght to the most part.I have awerness on the field and am willing to face anyone.I am looking for a well mixed school and you can contact me at any time.My family does have finacial problem so this is one of my reasons for working so hard and achieving my goals.I love the unity A team brings.
