Track is my lifeline, it has taken me places where I have never been. It also took me out of a bad situation, coming from the southside of Chicago where it's rare for black young men like myself to make it out. My plan is to go to college and compete for a program who wants me there. All my life I have been walking around with a chip on my shoulder and I will walk into college with that same chip. I am a true underdog, who competes and works like one. I love track and I would love to do what I love for a program I will stand by and compete for.
