My goals & aspirations…my goal is to have the “C” patch when I make it to the NFL because more than anything I wanna play ball at the highest level and I believe I can do it. Being a leader on and off the field is a big goal & aspiration of mine. Why? Well due to the recent passing of my mother my eyes opened up a lot. We seen how much of a toll the cancer took on her body. That’s something no one should ever have to feel or go through. Well out of the 3-4 years of my mom battling cancer she never once gave up, and thats exactly how she raised me; she raised me to be strong minded.
Coaches may be asking their self “Well what does he bring to the table ?” I can start off by saying my passion, commitment, & effort for this game are beyond words, I drive myself past my limits because I believe their is no limit to our mental strength & physical strength. Only we know our body.
What makes myself different from other recruits in character, athletics, & academics?
In character I’ve matured a lot for my age, not many people think I would have the mindset/mentality that I do. I manifest everything I wanna do in life and I pursue it because I know that “if you put your mind to something you CAN accomplish it with full commitment”, my mother would always tell me that and I’ll always carry that on with me. Never once did I see my mom give up during the battle of cancer she kept fighting & fighting during the hardest stages, so you will never see me give up because I know that there are people suffering out there that aren’t giving up so I have no excuse to ever give up. That’s what I call my work ethic. In athletics, I catch on pretty quickly just about the same as others, but my effort is always A1, I push myself past my limits on the field, that’s something special about myself is just I never give up, I practice and practice until I get it right. In academics I’m a very quick learner, certain subjects have to be broken down into details for me to catch on quickly, I pay close attention to what is being taught to me and if I have any questions at all I ask them so I can get a full understanding of what is being described. But during the time when my mother was going through a lot it was hard to keep up with school, just because my Mother could not be left alone, so there were times where I would have to stay home from school and take care of my mom which set me back a bit but I’m doing everything I can to fix anything from the past. My mom supported me in this sport she visualized myself playing at a higher level and I will, i visualize that every morning when I wake up. “I WILL SUCCEED“
