I started playing football in 2nd grade and I fell in love with it from day 1. Football has always not only been a sport that I enjoy, but a huge part of my life. Football is where I made my closest friends to this day and it is where my dad and uncle and cousins have bonded throughout the years. Whether it was a pick up game in the neighborhood or annual Turkey Bowl games...football is where I feel my most at home and my most confident. It has made me the person I am today. I believe in team, I believe in working together for common goals, I believe in lifting people up so that we all succeed. Right now, as I am preparing for my Senior year, I am not only focused on doing everything I can to help my team succeed but doing everything I can to work towards my goal of playing football at the next level. I plan to accomplish this by not only committing my time in the weight room and on the field, but also staying committed in the classroom and making sure that my grades never hold me back. In my senior year course schedule, I will continue to be challenged by Honors and AP courses in my academic career. As I look towards my final year at York High School, I will continue to give back to the community in several fundraisers that I have committed to for the past 7-10 years, continue to tutor elementary students after school each week and continue my commitment to our Special Olympics programs in basketball and track and field. In the classroom, in the community and on any team I am on, I always make sure to give it my all and never leave anything out on the field.
