Derrick Dunn '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name's Derrick Dunn. I'm 5'9" 190 pounds and a senior in high school. I'm a three year starter at the varsity level at the middle linebacker position.  I'm very dedicated to football as well as my academics. I strive everyday to do my best on and off the field. I've never had a disciplinary action taken in high school. I've been told my whole life that I'm too small to play in college, but to me height doesn't matter. This is why I try hard to gain muscle weight to make up for the height issue. I've missed about 6 weight lifting days in my whole high school career and that was only for vacation. My friends and family all know I'm very dedicated to making it onto a college football team. It's my dream to play college football even if I am smaller.  I've been playing tackle football since I was in 4th grade.
