I believe what makes me a good candidate for a volleyball is my practice ethic and my attitude towards my teammates. I live on a farm, and not close to a gym. I would practice hitting and serving against the barn. I never missed a practice unless it was necessary. I consider myself as a very easy person to get along with. I always try to keep up the morale out on the court even when the team was not doing our best. I have always been able to leave it on the court and not take my frustrations out on my teammates. I am very supportive of my teammates even when I watch them from the sidelines cheering them on no matter the circumstances. I like to make my teammates laugh. I received a hitting award, which put me in the record books with a 31% of my 2022 year. I was awarded the athlete of the month award for having 11 kills during the last 3 games. When I was a freshman, I started the JV team and my sophomore year I was on the Varsity team. My aspirations are to play in college and to learn important lessons and to become a better player because I know I've got it in me. My aspiration in college is to become a psychologist for teen and kids to help them with the mental health issue I suffer with which is anxiety. I've always had anxiety, but I have learned ways to cope with it and not have it affect how I play and how I live. My last year I've planned to take more difficult classes and more classes that I will have to take in college to get a better understanding of the topic. I'm excited to see what the future hold for me.
