I can not remember a time I have not been involved in one sport or another. I have played football since I was seven years old I played baseball since I was four and I began track at the age of 11. I went to state my first year of track and we had the fastest time and thought we had won state until we were disqualified for a bad handoff, that day taught me a lot about the ups and downs of sports. I have never felt such a high and low in that short amount of time. I am not one to let a loss affect me, you come back and you work harder to improve and make things better. You rally as a team to enhance your skills and work toward the next win.
I am looking forward to the many highs I have left in my high school career and the exciting future I have in front of me as a college athlete. I hope to study kinesiology and be an athletic trainer or physical therapist. I know that I always want sports to be in my life and a major like that will allow me to continue to work with athletes even when my athletic career is over.
