Baseball has been a big part of my life since tee-ball. Having played since I was five it has become a major part of who I am as a person. Throughout the years it has given me many great qualities. I have played on many different teams, thus has given me many opportunities to learn and grow. Having grown with these opportunities, I would be a great asset to your team.
I started playing travel ball at the age of nine. It has given me a strong sense of teamwork and self discipline. It has taught me how to mentally move on "the next pitch is the best pitch." Being a catcher has helped me stay focused on not just baseball, but school and everyday life. It has taught me to reset and concentrate on the next pitch. I don't always agree with the call, but have learned not to show emotion. This is a hard lesson that i am continually working on.
I have many qualities to bring to any team, I am a great teammate and get along well with others. I have a good natured personality and positive attitude, I can follow and take direction as well as encourage others. These are many things that baseball has taught me over the years. I am always working hard to become a better baseball player, and person. I have learned the value of teamwork, the team must work together to be successful.
I am looking for a school that can help me financially, while allowing me to have the opportunity to receive a great education, and fulfill my dream and passion of playing baseball at the college level.
