Ryan Palmeri is currently a 7th grade student athlete at Eastview Middle School in Bartlett IL.
Academically he is a good student who has received A's and B's on his report cards. This year he has set a goal to make the Pop Warner Academic All American honors list and is right on track to achieve this goal.
Athletically, Ryan is an exceptional athlete who is usually one of the biggest players on his team. Because of his size and athleticism, he played up in every sport he has competed in. His chosen sports are Football, Baseball, and Wrestling, which cycle year-round. Last year Ryan gave up wrestling a sport he loved and replaced it with strength and agility training with a private coach.
In football, Ryan played up two grades from the age of five until the age of 12. During that time he played offensive center for six years and tight-end for the last two. Defensively, he has moved from OLB to nose tackle depending on where he was needed. Recently Ryan attended the Next-Gen Football Showcase Camp in Pontiac Mi. At the end of the camp, he was selected as the camp's all-defensive player MVP and was given a private invitation to the "Show" in June 2020.
In baseball, Ryan plays catcher and third base. He has been recognized as one of the best youth catchers in the Chicagoland area by Game Day USA. Through them, he has received Junior All American recognition and has played at the national level for that organization.
Finally, as a youth wrestler, he has qualified for the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF) state championship series. He has placed 6th at Midget State the year he was eligible, and was a two-time state qualifier in 2016 and 2017, taking fourth in 2017.
