Derrick Romano '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello coach, my name is Derrick Romano I am 6ft. 3in. tall I ran a 5.2 on my latest attempt at the forty yard dash. I weigh approximately 270lbs. For the longest time my dream has been to play college football. I have loved the sport ever since I started playing it when I was 8 years old. Not only that but it is a great way to meet lifelong friends. On the basis of school size any size school it doesn't matter all that much. The location of the school only matters slightly my preference would be schools located more north. My goals as an athlete are to start preferably by junior year. I also would like to help a team out the best I can whether that means protecting my offense or to stopping the other teams offense. I would also have the potential to lead a team I have been a team captain a few times in the past. I am still a little uncertain of my exact major but I am planning on figuring it out soon. My family has a financial need which I hope to make the best out of this situation and get as many federal aids and grants.
