My name is Ryan Smith... I'm a hungry but humble athlete, blessed to play this great sport we call football and compete at the level I do. I'm always working my hardest to be the best at what I do and better myself not only as an athlete but as a student and son. 

I am a varsity outside linebacker for Carmel High School in Indiana. Throughout High School, I've played nearly every position offense or defense from Wide Receiver, Running Back, and Quarterback, to Deffensive End, ILB, OLB, Safety and Cornerback. At every school I've attended, I've been regarded as a versatile and coachable athlete who love to compete.  I'm a tenacious player who only has one speed and wont give up wether we're up by 7 or down by 28. I'm a leader amongst my teammates and my peers and a selfless person.

I  pride myself on physicality and a love to study film to prepare myself for my opponent. No matter where I am on the field, I fly to the ball and I consider myself a play-maker and always try to impact the game when I'm on the field, weather that's stripping the ball on a gang tackle or swatting down a pass on a pass rush.This year I was a vital part of Carmel's 13-1 season. I had 87 total tackles,  54 solo tackles, 13 tackles for losses, 4 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 3 swatted down passes. 

I'm thankful for every opportunity God has given, is giving, and will give to me and will strive for greatness with my last breath.
