Football has been a huge part of my life since I was seven years old. Early in my high school career, I often talked with my parents about playing college football. There was a time though, when I did not think that was the path I wanted to pursue. Following my junior season, I realize that playing at the collegiate level is what I truly want to do. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that would lead me to greater things than I thought were possible.
I am committed to improving my skills, as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team leader (Team Captain) and try to lead by example and always encourage my teammates. Having parents who were both collegiate athletes, I have learned to be very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players on the team.
In the classroom, I am working hard to be a stronger student and working to correct some low points in my academics in order to improve my GPA. Outside of the classroom, I am a part of our student Pep Club and work to mentor the younger players in our program.
I want to attend a college that will push me to be the best version of myself, in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to find the right school at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model and make my family proud.
