My goals relate to my assets, who I am. I am an athlete. Football and soccer are my favorite sports, but I run track and play basketball too. I was the youngest starting soccer player in the U16 Bondurant Soccer Club at age 12. I love competing. Winning makes it more fun. I win because I gain the advantage over my opponent and am trusted by my teammates. Many of us are fast, but I am fast and quick. My conscience allows me a special advantage given to only a few. This is very important. My performance is not affected by the consequences of the outcome. I truly love competing. I have the skills to compliment my emotional gift. One is the ability to execute instant decisions during play. I process subtle cues from multiple players to determine their true intention. I use their own cues to misguide them. That is partly why the record shows that when I'm on the field, playing offense, our score increases. When I'm on the field playing defense, their score does not. Off the field I enjoy swimming at the city pool with my friends, long-boarding, and playing pickup games. I earned the respect of my friends by doing what I say and have made a most important life choice not to smoke or drink. An athlete needs his body at its best.
Coach Reference
Matthew is a tremendous athlete with great vision, straight line speed, and lateral quickness. He is a multi-sport athlete and has shown a very good work ethic in the weight room and strives to improve himself physically. In all of my years coaching high school football Matthew may be the most explosive offensive player I have coached in the fact that he can score anytime he touches the ball. Defensively he also has good instincts and ball skills. Simply put Matthew is a playmaker.
