My name is Cooper Hurn. I am a junior at Gilbert High School, and I am very interested in playing college football. I am a very strong leader, and as well as in football, I lead in several other ways. One being the classroom, and the other in a program called the United States Naval Sea Cadets Corps. What makes me a good candidate for a team is that again, I am a very strong leader. Also, I am a great team player, as well as teammate. I am coach-able, and can pick things up easily; lastly I play with heart. I think what makes me stand out from everyone else, is that a lot of people nowadays tend to be very self centered and only care about what's best for them and their future, and sure I care about my personal success, but I care about the success of my team and teammates more than myself. My moral character is also much higher than a lot of people my age I feel like, because I understand what it means to work, and I don't just get things handed to me; I go and work for them, which is pretty uncommon with young adults today. Academically, I think I'm about average, but I try my hardest in school and I think that's what sets me apart. Overall, I think that I am a great team player, I love the game of football, and would very much like to play college football!
