I'm currently a junior at Woodward-Granger High School. I'm a three-sport athlete and that includes football, track, and baseball. As a junior on varsity football, I started at wide receiver/running back on offense, cornerback on defense, and all special teams. My team was a state playoff qualifier and I earned 1st team all-district cornerback for Class 1A District 2. During my sophomore season I started at wide receiver on offense, cornerback on defense, and all special teams. Once again my team was a state playoff qualifier and I earned 2nd team all-district Class 1A District 8.
I'm also a sprinter in track but unfortunately due to COVID, my freshman season was canceled. Fortunately, during my sophomore year, we were able to participate and finish the season. During my sophomore season, I competed mostly in the 100-meter dash, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay and 800 sprint medley relay. My 4x200 relay team qualified for the state track meet and we finished in 6th place and also broke a long-standing school record.
My goal after high school is to play football or run track in college. With my hard work and dedication to the athletics I compete in and also with my weight, speed & agility training I believe that I will be able to perform at the college level. After high school, I'm interested in getting my college degree in business management.
I'm a hard worker on the field and in the classroom. I feel like I have a lot to offer a coach and team who are interested in a student-athlete like myself. I'm looking forward to my continued growth in high school and also at the college level.
