Dear Future Coaches,
I am writing to express my strong desire to continue my career as a student and college football player after I graduate from Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. Currently, I just completed my Sophomore year and I was the programs starting place kicker for the past two seasons. With the help of my teammates and coaches, I had a successful freshman campaign. I finished the season 8 for 11 on field goals with a long of 44 yards and was 25 of 27 on PATs. With this performance, I was selected first team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference kicker. As a sophomore, I was selected honorable mention All-Jayhawk Conference and was 7th in the NJCAA in kick scoring.I believe that I have the skills, work ethic and desire to be a successful kicker at the next level. I love the game of football and I love to kick. Although my ability to kick a football is a talent that I have been given, I have done and will continue to develop my craft through hard work and training. Most importantly, I consider myself to be more than just a kicker. I am a football player that kicks. I also played wide receiver and corner at Atchison High School from 2020-2022. I believe that my athletic abilities are what separate me from other kickers.
It is my hope that my profile will be considered and that I will hear from you at your earliest convenience. While in high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society (3.83 G.P.A.) and I am a good citizen that has been involved in numerous community service projects through my school and Church. I currently have a 3.6 G.P.A during my time at Butler Community College. Upon my graduation from Atchison High School, I was awarded the Kansas, Dale Dennis, Excellence in Education Award in which I finished in the top ten percent of my class. At Butler, I have been awarded the Presidential Scholarship in addition to my football scholarship for my academics. I was a multi-sport athlete that lettered in football, basketball and baseball during my high school years. I am a great teammate that always puts the team above myself and I am a tireless worker. I believe that any program that gives me a chance to pursue my goals will be proud of the committed student-athlete that I am. I am majoring in exercise science and plan to pursue a career as an athletic trainer or a physical therapist. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Aidan Battle
