I think what makes me the better pick over another athlete, that has my same recruiting abilities on paper, is the ability to adapt and ac with my coaches and my teammates. I have been coached to be a full package player on and off the field. During the off-season, I attend camps and winter indoor clinics to advance myself and be the best player and student for the next year. I strive to learn from my mistakes and apply the knowledge i gain from them.
I have strong leadership skills, and I can take criticism. I study and watch football all the time, and I am committed to the weight room. I work on my conditioning and agility year around. I get along with others very well. I have a good attitude and have a lot of self drive. I refuse to lose and want to succeed at the highest level that I can achieve both in academics and athletics.
Thanks for your time and interest.
Sincerely, Colby Barton
