- ActivitiesIn middle school I was selected to be a peer mentor/leader. I volunteered to assist my high school coaching staff this summer (2018) with the elementary school age football camp. I volunteered to assist with the special needs students at my high school as a peer mentor/leader. I am a member of my high school’s KAYs club. KAY is a character building, leadership training, service program directed by the Kansas State High School Activities Association. The nationally acclaimed organization provides students an opportunity to learn to assume their citizenship responsibilities and to enrich their personalities through well organized programs and projects. Programs educate, inspire and direct members into carefully planned service projects. The projects emphasize four areas of service: school, community, nation and world. The KAYs is a student association unique to Kansas. KSHSAA offers this activity to Kansas students as a means to make a world of difference for current and future generations.
