Kyle Kramer '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle, Sheldon Kramer. I am a sophmore, rising Junior and I attend Manhattan High School in Manhattan Kansas. I grew upwatching K-State university play football in their glory das and fell inlove with the game. I would love to play the game as long as I can, its a privillage to play the game and I realize this as time goes by faster and faster. My freshman year I struggled with a sprained foot and ost my starting job. With a renewed focus I gained a starting job my sophmore year, starting on the sophmore and JV team, while seeing very limited time on varsity. I played "Anchor" which is a hyrbid outside linebacker rolled up on the line like a defensive end but in a 2 point stance. I love getting after the quaterback, I had 12 sacks last year but should of had many more, Ill be working on my technique this off season to improve that stat. I realize I may be undersized at 5'10 190 pounds, and dont posses blazing speed (4.90 40 time). But I always put in the time and effort. I love the game, and love the wieghtroom. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes this past november after the season. I manage my desiese very well making sur eit never effects my health. I keep a steady job and manage my school work. I am responsible and think I have what it takes to lead. Ever since beig on insulin for my diabetes I have finally been able to put on wieght. (20 pounds, and its not fat!) s I think I have plenty of room to grow with hard wok. I realize Im not an incredible natural athelete who just wakes up and runs a 4.4 forty. I know If I want to continue success I need to work harder every year. And that this does limit any D-1 possibilites and Im fine with that. Playing a game I love at any level that could help with my education and my future career would be an honer.
