Originally, Rowing was just an extra thing for me to do, during the boredom of spending my summer at home, amidst a pandemic. I had rowed a bit before eighth grade, and I thought to myself, "Why not, it'll be a good way to stay in shape, and will make me stronger for volleyball." Fast forward almost three years, and boy, has my mindset changed.
I am 6'1" senior rower from Manhattan, KS.
Asides from rowing, I love to play the cello. I play in both my school's award-winning chamber orchestra and the local Gold Orchestra. I also take lessons from a local, retired music professor. I also love to read, and wherever I end up for college, I will be sure to bring my book collection to my dorm.
As a college student, I plan to study various topics that will aid me in becoming a well-rounded politician, and I right now plan on majoring in Philosophy, while pursuing a minor in Economics.
Wherever I end up, I want to leave an impact on that school. I bring my self-proclaimed eccentric personality with me everywhere I go, and I have a hard time "shutting-up." I love meeting new people, and I will also make sure to involve myself in local politics and advocacy initiatives, as this is a true passion of mine.
