Griffin Wallace '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Griffin and I have a passion for football!  I have played tackle football since 3rd grade and am truly dedicated to this sport.  I'm an athlete who studies and knows the game of football.  My most important accomplishments were being chosen for team captain on my high school varsity football team as a junior and being honorable mention league and district for offensive line my sophomore year and honorable mention league and district defensive line my freshman year.  I have been on the varsity team of my high school since my freshman year.  I'm excited to continue my football career on the college level.  What I can offer to a college team is my commitment to always work hard, learn from my coaches and teammates and be the best lineman and teammate I can be.  

I am open minded about colleges and hope to find a college that is the best fit for me and the team.  I do not have a preference for size as long as I receive an excellent education and play the sport I love.  I am looking at schools primarily in the mid-west part of the country.  I am looking in Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, and Oklahoma in order to not be too far from home but also have a variety of options for size, location (cooler weather) and majors.  I have not chosen a major but am interested in Engineering, Education/Coaching, and Sports Medicine.  Financial assistance will be important as my family does not qualify for grants or subsidized loans so I will depend on academic and sport scholarships as well as un-subsidized loans.  Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.
