My name is Bartholomew Ausler, III.
I have learned from playing sports how to deal with adversity by having the ability to adapt to a competitive environment. After leaving to go play youth football outside my surrounding neighborhood and making our national 8th grade FBU football team, I’ve never strayed away from competing against or with talented athletes.
I have been blessed so far to have played on a High school football team that has won six consecutive state championships while also running varsity track as a freshman and competing at state as a sophomore in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. I have learned by playing sports you need to lead by example, know how to handle adversity, outwork your competition, always have a positive attitude, never make excuses and have fun at what you do. My goal after high school is to attend college on either a football or track scholarship while obtaining my undergraduate and master degrees. If given the opportunity to play sports at your University, I promise I will take the same winning attitude I’ve developed at the high school level to help you achieve your team goals every year I am competing as a football player and as a student in the class room.
