Chad Curry '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chad Curry. I am a 6’4’’ 205 pound Safety .I have been a member of the Varsity Football Team at St Olaf College, a member of the competitive NCAA MIAC Conference. I earned All Conference Honors as a Freshman Starter  (Defensive Back) in the 2012 season. I was in the top 5 of leading tacklers on the St Olaf College Varsity team. I started 9 out of 10 college Varsity games. I played 10 out of 10 as a Starter on 3 out of 4 Special Teams. St Olaf College finished the season 7-3 in the MIAC Conference.

During my high school career I played Starting Safety and QB at Blue Valley High School  (Kansas 5A State Football Champions-2010, Kansas 5A State Football State Runner-up Champions-2011). I was on the High School's Varsity Football team since my sophomore year. I have played the game of football at these positions since I was in the 2^nd grade.  In high school I had athletic letters/bars in football, basketball, and track; though my primary sport and passion is football.

In high school I had obtained the accomplishments of: All Conference Eastern Kansas League Honorable Mention, Eastern Kansas League Scholar Athlete all four years, Mid State All Pro Academic Team all four years, National Honor Society member, Academic Letters and Bars (all semesters),Honor Roll (all semesters with a 3.9 GPA) and National Society of High School Scholars; while never missing football games, practices, drills, camps, combines, and the weight room. I have continued this tradition of high academic standards, and athletic discipline while at St. Olaf College, a nationally top ranked academic institution. My athletic and academic drive comes from my hard work ethic and always strives to do my best attitude. I am open to going to school in any geographic area. My intended major is economics/business.
