I am a 5'9" 140 lb. midfielder/defender that plays for Sporting Blue Valley U19 DA (#6). This last season was my first year playing DA. Prior to this I was a multi-sport athlete playing basketball and soccer. I won a national championship on my club basketball team, started for a 6A varsity basketball team as a freshman point guard and played soccer at the top level rated nationally in the top 10 both ECNL and DA. I have already verbally committed to play soccer at Missouri State University.
I balanced both soccer and basketball with my academics and kept over a 4.0. This experience has given me the work ethic and ability to manage time and studies better than most athletes. My dad played division 1 football in college and it has always been my goal follow in his footsteps and play a sport in college. I've learned from him what it takes to play at this level.
I currently have a 4.3 GPA and I take AP and honors courses. My goal has always been to play soccer at a D1 school and I will do anything to achieve that. I would like to go to a larger school with strong athletic programs. I would also like a school that can help me pursue a career in physical therapy.
I'm an athletic holding midfielder who who has the ability to move the ball forward to offensive players, can pressure opponents on the ball and make strong tackles. This has allowed me to play in both the midfield and as a defender. My height & size allows me to be strong in the air with headers, shield the ball and a strong leg for crosses or balls over the top when it's called for.
I am a driven and hardworking player and will bring leadership and versatility to the team. I know what it takes to play at the next level, and I am willing to put in the hard work to make it happen.
