I have a goal of becoming a student-athlete in the sport of football where I can utilize my talents to obtain a quality education as well as be a contributor on the field or the basketball court. I am currently a sophomore, having 4 older brothers who have attended college and played collegiate sports I fully understand the importance of a college education. I have maintained a 3.5 grade point avg. while in high school and my goal is to maintain this throughout high school while challenging myself by taking at least (1) Honors or AP course the remainder of my high school career. I plan to take the ACT test for the first time in April of this year.
Athletically, I feel I am a gifted athlete that will only get stronger and faster throughout my career. This year I played multiple positions including WR, QB, and ATH, and CB. I have grown to love the WR position and feel that I can play this position at the next level. As a junior I was able to lead my team to the Regional Finals and was selected 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-Region and 2nd Team All-State as well as being voted our teams MVP.
Currently, I am playing basketball where I am a Captain and our teams defensive stopper as I will always guard our opponents best player. I lead our team in steals and assist as well as tied for 1st in rebounds.
This summer I plan on attending several football camps as well as continued weight and speed training for football.
In closing, I am a dedicated student- athlete that understands the importance of hard work and education and I plan to be a contributor at whatever college or university I end up attending as I am extremely coachable.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
