I love doing whatever I can for the for the betterment of my team and my community. Over the past few years I have enjoyed the challenge of helping to build what was once a struggling team of just 25 freshmen and sophomores into a new varsity program of 50-plus athletes. In eighth grade, I began volunteering weekly at my local public library and have earned a spot on the Maine Youth Volunteer Honor Roll. I enjoy doing my part for the greater good, both on and off the field. I believe that this is one of the reasons that my teammates nominated me as the only sophomore captain this year.
