I am a junior in high school. I am currently 16 years old and can kick accurate field goals at 45yards. I can also punt 35-40 yards.I practice at home daily and on a football field several days a week. Becoming a kicker/punter has become my obsesson and my goal is to be a kicker in college. Ultimitly I dream of playing in the NFL.
I have been struggling to find a way to play for a team due to my age and the type of high school I go to. My high school is a small private/charter school and does not have the finacial capability to put togeter a high school football team. I keep in shape and keep practicing every chance I get and with all of my spare time. I also run track, weight lift and do other sports to keep up my endorance.
I would love guidance on how I can get involved with a group or team of kids my age. So far everwhere I look I have found I am aged out or too old to play or am told to play for high school. I love my high school and I am an honor roll student wtih great attendance. I have considered transfering to a high school with a football team but I would either have to pay an expensive tuiton for a private school or go to a local school that has a poor academic record. I am stumped and don't know what way to go. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
