I am a 16 year old, 6'0", 245 lb center, nose tackle and long snapper from Atholton High School in Columbia, Maryland. I was named captain of my JV team as a freshman, was pulled up to Varsity as a starter my sophomore year, and was named a Varsity captain my junior and senior years. In addition, I was named All County OL my junior year, and was named to the 2012 Baltimore Touchdown Club Super 22 Team based on athletic and academic performance. I love the game of football, and have stopped playing other sports so I can focus on football training and conditioning year around. I have a 4.5 weighted GPA, including many honors, GT and AP classes, have excellent SAT scores and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. I believe intelligence and leadership on the football field is just as important as athleticism, and that all three traits are necessary to define the "student athlete". I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the football field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of engineering and business. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.
