David Williams '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi.  My name is David Williams and I am currently a senior at National Christian Academy in Ft. Washington, MD.  My collegiate goals include preparing myself academically and physically to be accepted into a Division 1-3 college.  Although I believe, college should be a fun and enjoyable time, I will work hard to gain the knowledge for global, future success.

One of my main aspirations is to be a professional football player.   However, with a degree in business, if I ever was injured, I would open my own business.  I would market to other football players to make sure they properly handle their finances.  That way when their careers are over, they do not end up broke.  I could also teach them how to put their money into investments.

What makes me a good candidate for their team is bringing hard work and dedication on and off the field.   I will be a good example to my team mates by showing what good leadership requires.  For example, showing up to practices on time, giving my all while in practice and respecting the rules and regulation of the team and/or organization. 

What makes me different from other recruits in character is my Christian background, showing humility, choosing right over wrong and always willing to help build up the next person.   What makes me different from other recruits in athletics is my passion to give it my all.  I want to be the best person for my team.  Also, I am teachable and coachable.  What makes me different from other recruits in academics is my ability to keep a 3.0 or greater at all times.  I know this takes discipline with my time and making sure I have the right priorities.
