Hi my name is Khalil, in college I want to set myself up for a bright future and not just in sports but outside of sports. I wanna put myself in the best position as possible to be successful. When I go to college I want to study in engineering (science and statistics). Also in college I wanna have the opportunity to play football and run track for your program.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I’m very determined to compete in the next level after college. I will always give it my very best effort to whatever it is we are doing. I will push myself to strive for greatness and improvement. I will not quit, no matter how hard it gets, I will refuse to give up on y’all, family, my teammates and myself. I have a very strong positive mindset , I wanna encouragement everyone to strive for greatness too, want to see my teammates be successful in what they’re doing.
Athletic wise I believe I’m different from other because I’m humble. I’m not cocky but I’m confident in myself and believe in myself, but I also know where I stand athletic wise and won’t think I’m the best of the best. I’ll strive to be the best but mentally I know I’m not.
Academic wise, it says it itself we are all student athletes and I think some athletes don’t care much about academics because so focus on sports but I know grades must come first. You must have good grades to compete or even just to attend college and if not you won’t be there, and I take my work serious, I don’t like being behind in a class I like to be up to pace so I’m not fallen behind and struggling to catch up. So myself do focus very much on my school work when given the time and focus on athletics on the given time.
