My name is Jonah Tarpley, and I am a Junior at St. Mary's Ryken High School in Leonardtown, MD. I am a Principal's Honor Roll student first and foremost and a devoted, team-oriented right tackle second. I've been playing organized football for five years and know it's the sport for me. I view it as a vehicle for potential scholarship opportunities to further my education and a pathway to the NFL.
My family is committed to my success on and, more importantly, off the field. I intend to be the best player/student possible. On the field, I'm a 6'5, 305lb right tackle with long arms, good technique, and footwork, and I'm very coachable. I'm a fierce competitor between the lines and a great teammate.
In the classroom, I maintain close to a 4.0 GPA while taking an honors course schedule. My parents have instilled in me the importance of education, and I truly value the sacrifices it takes to be at St. Mary's Ryken High School.
My goal is to gain a 4-year athletic scholarship, be an excellent collegiate player, obtain a degree, and be a successful member of the community.
Finally, I am a devoted Christian with a positive outlook on life and my future. My success story is just being written!
