I’m Andrew Garnett, a 18-year-old senior (Class of 2016) at Riverdale Baptist School (Largo, MD.) I live with my Mom, Dad, and 2 younger brothers. In my spare time I play basketball, swim, act, listen to music and I have a passion for computers and technology. Even though I’ve played football for a very short time, I have worked very hard to play at a very high level. In the classroom, I achieved a 3.8 GPA my junior year which was all A's and only one B. (3.1 overall GPA) During my first quarter of 2015, I have all A's.
As our 2015 season has progressed, we have played one of the toughest schedules in our area. Thus far this season, we have wins over the defending Maryland 4A PG County Champs and over the defending Maryland 2A football champions. We finished the season with a 6-4 record having played some really great high school teams.
This past season (2014), our team came together to win the Capital Area Conference Championship for the second year in a row. I was named to the all conference team and have been ranked as a pre-season second team All State Private School selection by Rivals.com. I was also voted most improved player by my teammates at the end of the season.
I am currently having an incredible year in the classroom and I continue to get ready for my Freshman year in college. I invite you to review our schedule at www.Riverdalebaptistfootball.com.
