I am a senior at Thomas Stone High School. I have been playing football since I was four. It was when I scored my first touchdown that I knew of my love for the game of football. I am dedicated to honing my skills as an athlete. Football has taught me to remain disciplined when facing adversity and to put the goals of the team first.
Acheiving my academic goals throughout high school and college is of the upmost importance to me. I strive to maintain a great GPA as I am shooting to graduate in the top percentage of my class. My Current GPA is 4.0. I am currently enrolled in a college preparatory class as college is my ultimate goal. I plan to major in graphic design.
The 2015 season proved to be quite the obstacle. It was my first year as a varsity player. Due to the fact that there were two seniors in front of me I was made a 3rd string running back. This was a first for me as it meant I would not get much playing time. In hindsight I would say this was a very humbling experience. I believe it allowed me to become an even better student of the game. I never got down on myself or my teammates. I worked harder at perfecting my technique as well as familiarizing myself with the ins and outs of the team. Whenever the opportunity to play presented itself I took full advantage of playing the game I love.
I'm enjoying my 2016 season as I am a starter.
A few things that make me unique is my ability to have exceptional field vision while running the ball, being able to play football and maintain my academic focus, being a role model to my peers, and giving my upmost effort both on and off the football field.
in conclusion, I want to play football at a collegiate level while furthering my education.
