Lucas Welton '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm a versatile playmaker who is dedicated to becoming a great football player while also giving it my all in the classroom. I work to improve every day whether in the weight room, hustling with my 7v7 team, extra field sessions or other speed & agility training. I understand that as an undersized athlete, I have to work harder to earn the attention and respect of those who would benefit most from my presence on the field. I'm looking for a chance to compete and earn a spot at the college level. In 2021 I was named an All State Honorable mention along with a divisional all star.  I have higher expectations for this coming season! 

Academically, I carry a 4.0 GPA. I'm currently undecided on my college major, but I can really see myself going into education and coaching where I can use what I've learned in the classroom and on the field to help the next generation of students and athletes accomplish their goals.  I'm looking forward to what is to come this year and I really appreciate you taking the time to check out my profile.
