Kevin Burke '24 Recruiting Profile

Currently ranked as #5 public HS defensive lineman in Massachusetts by Prep RedZone.  My goal is to receive an excellent education while continuing my athletic career.  I am a football player with incredible work ethic and character.  I have been a full-time starter on offense in a competitive program since my sophomore year.  During my junior season I began starting roles in all three phases, being on the field for approximately 90% of my team's total plays.  I am a leader through my in and off-season work habits - making sure other players attend lift sessions and other team activities - both through communications and actually picking them up and getting them where they need to be.

My abilities have grown exponentially the more I have played.  I am a Left Tackle on offense with good speed and length.  On defense, I expected to be a second string DE since I had never played varsity defense before.  By the end of the 2022 season, I had played more snaps than any lineman on the team, faced double teams regularly, and emerged as a very strong run-stopper.  I have a great deal of upside, with incredible potential and a willingness to do whatever the team needs to get better every week.  I am confident that I will be a valuable addition to any program, through my positivity, work ethic, love of football and pride of going toe-to-toe with anyone, anytime.  3.75 GPA.
