My goal is to play football for as long as I can and consistently be the best athlete I can be throughout my college career. I get satisfaction from being on the field; football has always been my passion. Because of that passion, I commit to lifting weights and conditioning outside of school a minimum of five days a week during every off season. While playing, I stay focused on the task at hand and have learned to blockout all of the pain and distractions that occur on the field. I’m aware of my role as a running back and I always do everything in my power to accomplish my task. Being a good teammate is important to me because I realize that you're only as strong as your weakest link. As a teammate, I have a good understanding of how important it is that everyone on the team knows their job at all times. So, I make sure that anyone who needs help understanding the game plan gets the help and explanation they need to be the best that they can be. I don’t ignore my academic responsibilities even though academics have always been difficult for me. I do my best in the classroom and always seek help when needed because I recognize the importance of my education. I believe I am a valuable asset to any organization because of my perseverance, dedication, mental/physical toughness and over a decade of experience on the field.
