As a high school athlete my goal is to become the first person in my family to be a collegiate athlete. By having this as my goal it pushes me to become the best version of myself both academically in the classroom and athletically on the field.
During the recruiting process, coaches should know that I can provide leadership to a team. Being a varsity starter since freshmen year has made me become more of a leader on the field to both under and upperclassman. As coaches recruit me, what separates me from most student athletes is my strive to become at least 1% better everyday.
Going into Junior year, I am a two year varsity starter and have played previously in AYF for Hudson in grades 4-5 and 8. Heading into Junior year my primary goal is to be a captain, I want to showcase my leadership abilities to my teammates once I have the captain spot. I am a Summer Lifting Captain for the team as well, which helps me communicate my leadership with both coaches and teammates.
