Hi,
my name is Jack Mahan. I am a student-athlete at Apponequet Regional High School in Lakeville, Massachusetts. I am the Quarterback for the Apponequet Lakers Football team.
For my Sophomore year, my team and I went 7-4 and made it to the first round of the MIAA Division 6 South Playoffs. We fell short during the 4th quarter but we hung in there until the last second. For my Junior year, my team and I went 6-1 and all the way to win the South Coast Conference Blue Division championship against our rivals at our home field. In my Senior year, my team and I went 3-7. We had a rough start to our season going 0-3. Went on a 3 game winning streak, then went downhill from thereon. It didn't feel good at all but I learned a lot from this season. The only thing is to keep building on the foundation and do better the next time there is a chance.
I am interested in any school that offers a mechanical engineering program because that is the field of study I would like to research and achieve success during college. The reason why I want to study mechanical engineering is that my uncle and grandfather used to work on automobiles when I grew up, I was very intrigued by it, so that is the field of study that I'd like to major in.
