Andrew Landry '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’5”, 205 lb quarterback who is a member of the Class of 2020 at Newton North High School in Newtonville, MA. I have a 3.62 GPA. My goal is to play college football at a high level. I am looking for a collegiate experience that will allow me to achieve, grow and, most importantly, prepare me for life beyond the football field.

I have been playing quarterback since the age of nine and enjoy all facets of the position. My strengths are leadership, game planning, arm strength, and downfield accuracy. While one will describe me as calm and poised, I also have a competitive fire that drives me towards being an effective leader. My goals for the upcoming off season are to continue to add muscle, get faster, and develop not only physically but also cognitively. 

I would like to go to a school where I can find a healthy balance between academics and football. I wish to pursue a business major that will position me well for leadership early in my professional career. On the field, I endeavor to be a dynamic player who positively influences the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that I always represent my team, coaches, and school. 

I am a coachable, driven, lead by example type of prospect who holds himself to a very high standard. I am the type of quarterback prospect whom you can build not only an offense but also a team around.
