I thought being the first freshman female in national history to score points in a varsity game was the highlight of my career. Then I broke a 60-year old school record at Manchester-Essex (MA) for most points scored by a placekicker in a game. While I continue to improve and grow as a kicker, I am proudest of the mental toughness I’ve developed over my three years of playing varsity football. Because football has helped me grow as a person, I want to continue playing and competing at the college level.
I have been fortunate to play in a varsity program that values commitment, courage, teamwork, and leadership. I had a record-breaking junior season but feel as though my best days as a kicker are ahead of me. I believe I have the skill to help a college team win games, and I am working hard this off season to perfect my technique and increase my yardage. I know I have the character and work ethic to be a model teammate, someone my teammates and community can count on and respect.
