My name is Robert Smith; I play football for Father Gabriel Richard High School. I play any position on the offensive and defensive line needed, but my primary positions on offense are center and guard, as well as defensive tackle and Middle Linebacker on defense. Freshman year I was named captain on the Junior Varsity. team and was a two-way starter. Last year I was a starter at both right guard and center and played second string middle linebacker and defensive tackle. This year I started at left Guard and started at nose guard. I have played football since I was in third grade and have always loved the game. Ever since I started playing football, I aspired to play college football. Playing college football is my ultimate goal and I will do anything to achieve this. I am not only competitive on the football field but also in the classroom. I had a 3.2 GPA my freshman year and as a sophomore and my Junior year a 3.4, I look forward to increasing my GPA. I train for football all year; I am in the weight room all the time and love getting prepared for the football season with my brothers. I also prepare for the football season by playing other sports. I play Lacrosse for Father Gabriel Richard on the Junior Varsity team. I also wrestle for Barwis elite wresting club and train with Olympic wrestler Jake Herbert and Coach Andy Hrovat. I love to play these sports but football trumps them all! I love football, it is a gift, and I want to play for as long as I can.
