Personal Statement
I am a 5'4 left-handed player who loves to be out on the court. I have a great slice serve I like to use especially on the ad side. I have a strong work ethic, competitive spirit to play, and of course, a passion for the game. Over the years, I have excelled in the mental and physical game of tennis, and it has made me the player I want to be. Along with the dream to play college level tennis, I have big dreams for my academics as well. I am planning to study international relation or public affairs as well as pre law, in hopes that someday I can land a job at the federal level, such as an FBI agent or CIA or for the UN. Tennis to me is not just a sport or extracurricular, it's been my life. Tennis has allowed me to grow into the outgoing, smart, and goal-driven person I am today. From the first time I stepped out onto a court and learned to hold a racket to where I am now, playing the number one singles position for my high school team, I have loved every minute of it.
