Personal Statement

My goal is to attend college and play football and run track. My major is undecided, but I plan to major in something dealing with business. My coaches say that I am very coachable, respectful, quiet and listen to directions very well. I have been running AAU Track for 8 years. I give up my evenings in the Summer months, Monday-Friday, for practices and practically every weekend to compete in the meet. I started to realize my potential in football during the sophomore year. I asked my parents if I could get a personal trainer and they found Northside Training which I started at in January of 2021.  During the Spring track season, I was going to track practice and then to weight training. During the Summer months, I would go to weight training in the early afternoon and then to either football practice or track practice. Some days I did all three. I spend time watching Youtube clips about football and playing my position and I also watch track. I am very dedicated to improving myself physically and mentally. I feel I will be a good fit at a college because of these qualities. I struggled academically my Freshmen year, but I realized, after talking to both of my parents who are educators, the importance of education and did a really great job my Sophomore year and continue to do so my Junior year.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
