Personal Statement

Ever since I took my first steps or said my first word, athletics, in particular football and baseball have been a driving force in my life.  As seasons went by, I started to develop mentally, physically and emotionally into a leader that as given me opportunities to feel success and deal with adversity as I grew as a person, as student and as an athlete.  I have been playing organized sports since I was three and find my love for athletics grows with every season.  I strive not just to be better than my competition; I strive to be better than I was the game before, the day before or the play before.  It’s my heart that has given me the ability to lead so many teams at such a young age in multiple sports.  The ability to not give up when times are hard that gives hope to my teammates.

I am a winner, and not only a winner because how many yards I have gained, or my solo tackles, or the score of a game, or the win/loss column but measured by the respect earned from my coaches, players, teachers and my community.  No matter what the situation I am put into a leadership role and I accept and enjoy these situations.  In the past six years, in Middle School and now High School, I have been a voted or Coaches have picked me for Captain of my Football, Basketball and Baseball Teams, because the Players respond to my hustle play and never give up or give in attitude.  I lead by example and do not give up.

My drive and heart is not left on the field; I bring it to the class room and into my community.  I am looking for a program that fits with my character and who I am, and one that I can use my abilities best to improve the program.  I have been lucky to be given the athletic ability, the leadership skills and the heart to bring it all together.  I am looking for a University or College that is looking for a person, a student and a player like me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
