Dawson John '22 Recruiting Profile

I signed up for football in 5th grade and after my first year I knew this was going to be my favorite sport.  My last two years on varsity we lost early in the playoffs. After losing in the second round my Junior year I knew I needed to put more work in than I ever have before.  And that experience helped me grow as a athlete and as a person.  So ever since than I have been working to be the best receiver and athlete for my final year of high school football. 

I am grateful to be playing for a good team that has no trouble making it to the playoffs year after year. After my past 2 years on varsity I have learned a lot about the commitment, teamwork, work-ethic, and sacrifice it takes to play varsity football. I am looking for a school that will benefit me both athletically and academically. I believe that I have the talent, leadership skills, and character to play for and impact a college team!
