Ryan Heicher '21 Recruiting Profile

In my first HS game I set a school record by hitting 7 PATs in a single game.  I am 90/95 on PATs (4 were blocked) and 10/15 on FG. I had my career high and school record of 15 points in one game this fall.  I have attended three Chris Sailer camps and was noted as a "2021 standout" twice. All great experiences and somewhat humbling to see the competition. I have also attended a Kornblue and Kohl's camp and attended several camps this summer including a College Coaches Showcase camp, a few "The Kicking Coach" camps (including an invite-only Top Kicker camp) and will still attend Hammer Kicking Camps this summer and fall.  I have trained with or been trained by several current college kickers, punters and ex-NFL kickers including one-on-one training with Eddie Murray,  ex-Lions Kicker.  I am playing in the 2021 Hawaii Tiki Bowl and for my senior HS season I have my own dedicated kicking coach which I'm super excited about.  I feel if I don't know something, I can be taught and this year am working on my stamina and mental game. It's awesome to be part of a football family. Everyone brings something different to the game. Grades are always a priority and I currently have a 3.75 cumulative.  I have volunteered for church events,  Special Olympics and did a toy drive with my sisters for a local Ronald McDonald House. During the Covid crisis, I have been working hard kicking throughout and during the school year I volunteered every Tuesday handing out food for the Novi school district. I am a soccer ref, work at a restaurant and am a three-sport athlete. I pride myself at being able to keep my priorities straight. I'm excited by what my future could bring as I consider possibilities for the next level of academics. I am interested in business admin and marketing.
